Chana will work with your community to develop a program that best suits your camp’s sensibility. All programs available, if desired, with a particular emphasis on:

• Jewish environmental values / Teva
• Hebrew language – modern, conversational Hebrew
• Social Justice
• Incorporating Jewish culture and values into everyday camp activities

1) Camp-wide Concert (can include opening act from your camp community which Chana will help co-ordinate)
Original Jewish music fusing reggae, hip hop, folk, and rock in Hebrew and English. Concerts are highly interactive, reflecting Chana’s approach to creating community through music. Participation from campers & counsellors can include: musicians, singers, beatboxers, hip hop MC’s, and drummers. Appropriate for all ages.

2) Creative Tfillah/Prayer Services
Mix of original and some of the hottest melodies coming out in Jewish music. Chana uses Carlebach, Dan Nichols, Rick Recht, Julie Silver, Josh Nelson, and other contemporary melodies, even Bob Marley when appropriate! Chana will work with your campers and staff to help create powerful prayer experience, or can create one solo as well. Appropriate for all ages.

3) Camp-wide Song Session
Chana will work with your camp to help reinforce values and events that you want to emphasize/celebrate. Israel Day celebrations – Chana can work with your Israeli staff. Song sessions full of harmony and beautiful singing – Or, just a rock-out song session to let loose! Can also be tailored to smaller groups.

4) Rhythm Workshop/Chug – “Banging On Things”
This unique workshop builds listening skills, leadership, and communication by using everyday objects to create a rhythm orchestra. The orchestra can be showcased in all-camp or unit performance, or can be incorporated into other community events, such as tfillah and/or song session. A great way to involve campers/counsellors in a “cool,” non-singing musical experience that they’ll love. A favorite among middle school and high school ages!

5) Songleading Workshop
Is your camp singing as spirited as it could be? Chana will work closely with older campers and counsellors to accomplish goals of the camp towards building community through song. Workshop is hands-on, practicing skills such as: Getting the Group’s Attention and Keeping It, Teaching Songs Effectively, Creating Strong Community Through Music. Appropriate for ages 11 years and up.

6) Writing Music/Creating A Band
Whether campers sing, rap, beatbox, or play an instrument, Chana will work with them to create a final product they can be proud of.
Special emphasis on Jewish camp values if desired. Appropriate for all ages, but groups should be divided – ages 7 to 9, 10 to 12, 13 – 15, and 16 upward.
